Interactive map: Freezing and tropical nights

In this page you will find an interactive map with numerous climate stations.

If you click on each marker, a popup containing very interesting graphs about that location last years climate will be opened. You can close each popup either clicking in the top right corner cross or by clicking anywhere on the map.

Freezing occurs when air temperature falls below 0ºC (32ºF) and it is an crucial phenomenon for agriculture, because its frequency and intensity play a crucial role in crop's health. On the other hand, tropical nights occur when temperature does not fall below 20ºC (68ºF) in all night and it affects to people's sleep quality and health, even it may aggravate cardiovascular diseases.

This map contains different layers that you can choose by clicking the top right corner popup. Thanks to that, you can choose between see freezing nights evolution graphs, tropical nights evolution graphs or both of them simultaneously.

To center the view on the chart, move the mouse while you press the left mouse at any point on the map and move around the map until you get a better view of the popup.

If you are having any trouble to see the images attached to each popup, you can open it in another tab (rigth click on the image + "Open image in a new tab").
