About me

I am a 23-year-old PhD student in Physics. I am originally from Campillos, a little town in the province of Málaga in southern Spain, but nowadays I live in the city of Madrid. I graduated in Physics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in July 2019. After that, I succesfully complete a Master's degree in Meteorology and Geophysics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, which I finished in July 2020. During the Master's degree I worked at the Centro de Investigaciones Medioambientales y Tecnológicas (CIEMAT) where I did my Master's degree thesis about urban heat mitigation strategies and its effects in pollution concentration levels in the city of Madrid using WRF-model simulations.

The main lines of research ar urban meteorology and biometeorology and also the spatio-temporal evolution of the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect and the effect of climate change on its properties.

I am an enthusiastic Python user, always trying to learn something new about it and about spatial analysis, data visualizations, management and manipulation, and GIS.
